Here are two great reasons:<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000; text-align: center;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> &nbsp;Quitting sugar is a way of living without processed food.<\/strong> When you steer yourself away from sugar, it \u2013 by necessity \u2013 cuts out pretty much everything that comes in a packet or box. When people baulk at my no-sugar status, I calmly point out that I simply don\u2019t eat garbage. It\u2019s that elegant.<\/li>\n<li><strong> &nbsp;Quitting sugar is about eating like our great-grandparents used to, before the additives.&nbsp;<\/strong>This \u2013&nbsp;again by necessity \u2013&nbsp;sees us eating whole, un-mucked with foods that were commonplace before the advent of modern metabolic diseases. One hundred years ago we ate eggs for breakfast, soups or raw cheese and\/or unprocessed meats&nbsp;at lunch, vegetables prepared simply, fruit as a treat and drank our milk whole and raw. There is nothing pretty about gorging yourself into a food coma ever and throwing dietary caution to the wind in favor of &nbsp;cookies, chips, and\/or other non-food items. &nbsp;It all seems harmless enough, yet such foods&nbsp;can create a domino effect on out health resulting in weight gain and a weakened immune system that can shut our body down for weeks with colds and flu.&nbsp;<br \/>\nThere is no reason for you to feel deprived following this program. &nbsp;You&#8217;ll just need a different approach. Celebrate today with delicious, indulgent, yet properly combined meals, balanced with fresh&nbsp;vegetables. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br \/>\nHere are some practical key tips that will help you avoid an agonizing food hangover:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: #000000;\">\n<li><strong>Strive for good food combinations<\/strong>: If you&#8217;re a vegetarian, this is easy for you as you will stick to carb based meals.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"color: #000000;\">\n<li><strong>Choose the right starches:<\/strong>&nbsp;Avoid refined&nbsp;starches&nbsp;such as white bread,&nbsp;white rice, pasta, and potatoes. &nbsp;Have sweet potatoes,&nbsp;avocados, or quinoa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"color: #000000;\">\n<li><strong>Drink 32-ounces of Green Lemonade<\/strong>: 16 ounces for Breakfast and 16 ounces for lunch. This will help curb any food craving.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"color: #000000;\">\n<li><strong>Have your pie and eat it, too:<\/strong>&nbsp;If you keep your food combinations simple, avoid overeating, and make sure to have some greens with your meal, you can enjoy some dark chocolate for dessert. &nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"color: #000000;\">\n<li><strong>Maintain Control:<\/strong>&nbsp;Don&#8217;t make a bad meal worse. Often when we overeat we think, &#8216;Oh well, I&#8217;ve been this bad&#8230;I may as well have another&nbsp;piece&nbsp;of pie!&#8221; &nbsp;Before you know it,&nbsp;you&#8217;ve taken an moderately damaging meal and turned into a major burden on the body.
