{"id":2555,"date":"2015-03-16T08:50:59","date_gmt":"2015-03-16T14:50:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thebellyfitclub.com\/wordpress\/?p=2555"},"modified":"2016-07-10T10:35:40","modified_gmt":"2016-07-10T16:35:40","slug":"healthy-food-ideas-for-kids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thebellyfitclub.com\/wordpress\/healthy-food-ideas-for-kids\/","title":{"rendered":"Healthy Food Ideas for Kids!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you&#8217;re a parent who wants your children to eat more healthful foods or lose weight, you can safely incorporate many of these foods in their lives.&nbsp; One of the greatest gifts we can give to our children is to expose them to a large variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, raw nuts, nut butters, and other healthy foods at a very young age.&nbsp; We firmly believe that a child who eats this way and learns the value of health will never develop a weight problem or eating disorder.&nbsp; Here is an example of some of the foods our kids love.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3728 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/thebellyfitclub.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/0588-e1468168142535-1024x809.jpg\" alt=\"0588\" width=\"960\" height=\"758\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thebellyfitclub.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/0588-e1468168142535-1024x809.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/thebellyfitclub.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/0588-e1468168142535-300x237.jpg 300w, http:\/\/thebellyfitclub.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/0588-e1468168142535-768x607.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our Kids Menu<\/p>\n<p>Breakfast Options:<\/p>\n<p>\u25a01 large bowl fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, or fresh raw smoothie<br \/>\n\u25a0Green Lemonade or Freshly Juiced Carrot and Apple<br \/>\n\u25a01 bowl low sugar organic cereal (Health Valley is a good brand) with Vanilla Almond Milk<br \/>\n\u25a0Sprouted English Muffin with Organic Butter<br \/>\n\u25a0Homemade French toast-This is one of my daughters favorite meals. Use sprouted Ezekiel bread and whole organic eggs and a little hemp or almond milk. Cook like you would French toast and drizzle organic grade b maple syrup on top.&nbsp;<br \/>\n\u25a0Organic Free Range eggs. However they like them. We put organic RAW goat cheese on top.<br \/>\n\u25a0Allies Eggie Bagel: We named this one after my daughter\u2026this is what she always calls it, LOL. 2 Ezekiel English Muffins toasted, 1 egg mixed in microwave bowl and mixed with \u00bc cup shredded raw cheese and microwave for 1 minute. Spread veganaise on bread and add egg and cheese. &nbsp;Delicious!<\/p>\n<p>Lunch Options:<\/p>\n<p>\u25a0Raw Cheese and Ezekiel Bread Grill Cheese Sandwich<br \/>\n\u25a0Raw Almond Butter and Raw Honey on Sprouted Grain Bread<br \/>\n\u25a0Ezekiel Tortillas with Hummus, Spinach, and raw cheese. Heat, fold, and cut for cheese quesadillas.<br \/>\n\u25a0High Quality Organic Soup (pacific brand is great) with Veggie Bootie<br \/>\n\u25a0Baked Corn Chips (Guiltless Gourmet is my families favorite) with Avocado and Salsa<\/p>\n<p>Snack Options:<\/p>\n<p>\u25a0Fresh, raw fruits or veggies<br \/>\n\u25a0Dried UNSULPHERED fruits<br \/>\n\u25a0Raw Nuts<br \/>\n\u25a0Lara Bars<br \/>\n\u25a0Whole Grain Crackers with Raw Cheese<br \/>\n\u25a0Air-Popped Pop Corn with Organic Butter and Sea Salt<br \/>\n\u25a0Fresh Smoothies and Fresh Juices<\/p>\n<p>Dinner Options:<\/p>\n<p>\u25a0Whole Wheat Pasta with Seeds of Change Sauce<br \/>\n\u25a0Brown rice with Organic Butter and Steamed Veggies<br \/>\n\u25a0Grilled Fish or Rotisserie Chicken with Veggies<br \/>\n\u25a0Sweet Potato Fries dipped in <a href=\"http:\/\/thebellyfitclub.com\/index.php?w=tbfc_013.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Kristie&#8217;s Secret Sauce<\/a><br \/>\n\u25a0Ezekiel Pizza (Spread Pizza Sauce on Ezekiel Pita Bread add favorite veggies and sprinkle with Raw Cheese. Cook in oven at 425 degrees until cheese is melted.<br \/>\n\u25a0Chicken Quesadillas: same as lunch cheese quesadilla except add chicken<\/p>\n<p>Dessert Options:<\/p>\n<p>\u25a0Chocolate Almond Milk (heated or chilled) with a dark chocolate truffle<br \/>\n\u25a0Chocolate Pudding: 2 Avocados, 2 TBS RAW Cocoa&nbsp;Powder, 1 squirt stevia, 10 dates in mixer until smooth.&nbsp;<br \/>\n\u25a01 Scoop Rice Dream Ice cream<\/p>\n<p>The key is to take their favorite foods and find ways to make them healthy.
