Day Twenty One

“It takes 21 days to form a habit”, and what great habits you have made! 🙂  Think about where you will be in a month from now as you continue on….beauty, radiance, and energy, can be yours at any age we just have to do a few things different to achieve them. 


Today’s Exercises are: Skip the Cardio today and replace it with the Sun Salutations Video.  Repeat again 2 more times throughout the day. 

SUN SALUTATIONS, morning and night.   Log into www.thebellyfitclub.com and follow the video on the HOME page. 

Start in Standing Prayer Pose…

Standingprayer (2)  Inhale, and reach up towards the sky.

StandreachExhale, and bend forward from the hips and reach to touch your toes.  Bend your knees if you need to.  The goal here is to touch the floor. 

ForwardBend (1)Inhale, and step back to Plank

PlankExhale and push back to Downward Facing Dog

Downwardfacingdog (2)Inhale forward to Plank

PlankExhale, and lower down to Crocodile

CrocodileInhale up to Cobra, (a modified version is shown on the video)

CobraExhale back to Downward Facing Dog.

Downwardfacingdog (2)Inhale, and step or jump feet forward to Forward Bend.  Exhale and HOLD Forward Bend. 

ForwardBend (1)Inhale and reach for the sky

StandreachExhale, arms down to Namaste. 🙂 

Standingprayer (2)Repeat 3 more times. 

Kick Off Tip: So you have kids and you’re over 35. We tend to think that because of the former we will never look like we did in our twenties. Hogwash! Having children does not compromise the potential of the female body for youth, leanness, and longevity in any way.   This excuse totally dis-empowers women and mothers, and its all based on living  in a false paradigm.  I feel and look better at 43 than I ever did when I was in my twenties.  A clean celled functioning body will thrive at any age.  Care for your body and it will care for you giving you the radiance and beauty that is your birthright. 

Todays Meal Plan:

Upon Waking: Warm Water with Lemon

First thing in stomach: Green Lemonade 

(note: if you are a coffee drinker you are going to love our TBFC Coffee and can have this at this time) 

15-30 minutes later: Grapefruit (as much as you like)

Take in a Probiotic: Kombucha is great!

2-3 hours later….

Lunch: Creamy Tomato Basil Soup with a the Avocado Salad (make extra if you like to snack)

Dessert: Herbal Tea with 1-2 squares 80% Dark Chocolate

2-3 hours later: Have more of what you had for lunch or Green Lemonade

Dinner: Start with Raw Goat Cheese or any Raw Cheese and have with sliced tomatoes and a glass of red wine if desired. This will curb your appetite and relax you as you prepared dinner. 

Main Course: Slow Cooked Kale Omelettes or EGGS YOUR WAY! 🙂 

Dessert: Herbal Tea with 1-2 squares 80% Dark Chocolate
